Meet Romero!<br/>This sweet boy is looking for comfort, not chaos.<br/>He came to us just over a year ago as a 10-year-old stray, unclaimed and quietly hopeful. Despite his age, he was lucky enough to find a loving home with a retired family in a calm, peaceful environment--exactly what he needed.<br/><br/>Unfortunately, due to circumstances completely outside of their control, his family recently lost their home and could no longer keep him. Just days before Christmas, he found himself back at the shelter at 11 years old.<br/><br/>On the bright side, he's a perfect in-between size at just 20 pounds, fitting comfortably in the small-to-medium range. He's gentle, easy to manage, and would thrive in a quiet, retirement-style home where life moves at a slower pace and love comes in steady, reassuring moments.<br/><br/>He's already shown us how well he settles into the right environment.
