Romeo's Story

Romeo is part of our lovable Little Valentines litter, born on February 11, 2026, and he’ll be ready to head to his forever home on April 8 at 8 weeks old.

This chihuahua mix is a sweet little furball who thrives on attention—and by attention, he absolutely means belly rubs. If you’ve got a free hand, Romeo will gladly roll over and make sure it’s put to good use.

Like any young puppy, Romeo is just starting his journey and will need a family ready to help him learn the ropes. He’ll be working on house training, crate training, and all the basics of being a well-mannered companion. Expect normal puppy behaviors like chewing, playful nipping, bursts of energy, and plenty of naps in between. Consistent routines, patience, and positive reinforcement will help him grow into his best self.

As a chihuahua mix, Romeo will likely stay small but have a big personality. These pups are known for being affectionate, loyal, and people-oriented. They love being close to their humans and often form strong bonds with their families. Romeo may also have that classic chihuahua alertness, making him a great little watchdog. Early socialization will be important to help him feel confident and comfortable in new environments, with new people, and around other pets.

Romeo is the perfect blend of cuddly and playful, with a soft spot for anyone willing to give him a little extra love. He’s ready to find a home where he can soak up attention, share his sweetness, and be someone’s very special little Valentine.

Adoption application is available on our website: www.puppypawsrescue.org

Please note:

Pup cannot be left alone for more than "3” hours at a time. This is necessary for comfort breaks and much needed socialization for a pup this age.

For young puppies that leave unaltered:
A refundable $100 spay/neuter deposit for adopters with established spay/neuter history is required.
A refundable $200 spay/neuter deposit for adopters without spay/neuter history is required.
