Romeo's Story

Introducing the "New Leash on Life" puppies ... 16 adorable 8-10week old mixed breed puppies who's owners reached out for help when they became overwhelmed with caring for them. These puppies are the results of 3 different litters to 3 mixed breed momma dogs who we are told are 30-35lbs apiece (probably lab, some type of hound and/or aussie mixes). We do not know which puppies belonged to which momma dog and we have no idea as to who the dad(s) might be, but based on their current weights we are guessing they are going to be medium-sized adult dogs. <br/><br/> <br/><br/>"New Leash on Life" is a dog prison program where each puppy is getting one-on-one training for things like sit, stay, walking on leash, and potty training, as well as socialization with people, each other and adult dogs. This is a huge advantage on them becoming great adult dogs, especially if their forever homes continue with reinforcing their training. These puppies will be available for adoption on Saturday, March 28th, to approved adopters so if you are interested in meeting one of these cuties, please submit an application which can be found at www.bcaaofnj.org.
