Roman's Story
ROMAN’S STORY

Roman was rescued from the euthanasia list, and from the moment he arrived, we knew there was something incredibly special about him.

Roman is 6 years old, about 60 pounds, and an absolute lover boy. He has an old soul—you can see it when you look into his eyes.

He loves people, dogs, and other animals. He tries to play with every dog he meets and doesn’t have an aggressive bone in his body.

Every morning, Roman wakes up excited about life. He runs happy circles, grabs a few of his favorite toys, brings them over and places them beside you, then settles down right next to you.

And Roman has one funny little rule...

Put the cell phone down!

If you’re paying too much attention to your phone, Roman may just slap it right out of your hand! He would much rather have you looking into his eyes while he gives you kisses. He wants your attention—and your love.

Roman is completely house trained and crate trained. He is so trusted that he gets to roam freely during the day while we are there. Give him a big, securely fenced yard, and he is in heaven running and playing.

Whoever adopts Roman is going to be so incredibly blessed. He isn’t just a wonderful dog—he’s the kind of dog who becomes part of your heart.

And this one is going to be especially hard for me to let go.

Roman was our very first resident at Paws & Pray

He will always hold a special place in our heart, but we know there is a family out there who is meant to love him for the rest of his life.

Roman is ready for his forever home.

Paws & Pray
Where Faith Meets Fur

***If you'd like to learn more about Roman or think he could be the perfect addition to your family, please email nikki@pawsnpray.com to inquire or apply to adopt him**
