Rohmer's Story

Rohmer is a beautiful young lady with an even more beautiful soul!

Rohmer can be a little shy, but her tail wags for her favorite people. Once she’s had time to get to know you, she won’t be shy about asking for pets!

Though treats are great, food isn’t really Rohmer’s love language — what she really loves is being with her people! She responds more to her humans than she does to even the yummiest foods. Rohmer is learning to take nice, sniffy walks. She checks in with her human and has good leash manners.

Rohmer is a sweet pup who is a work in progress. She is learning to love the world and trust that she’ll be taken care of. Once she finds a home of her own, there’s no doubt she’ll blossom into a wonderful companion!

Click the “Adopt Me” button to submit an application and learn more about Rohmer here - https://adopt.adopets.com/pet/6e215167-1b72-4db7-846b-7772e6fbb6cd

*You can meet animals located at the ASPCA Adoption Center during our walk-in hours (daily, noon to 5 p.m.). We encourage a $150 suggested adoption fee when adopting an animal. This adoption fee allows the ASPCA to continue our lifesaving work and help even more animals in need. We are grateful for any amount given at the time of adoption.*
For more information on adopting from the ASPCA, please visit www.aspca.org/adoptionsteps.

**The ASPCA is committed to prioritizing the health and safety of the community, the animals in our care and our staff, and we are keeping a close eye on developments related to the COVID-19 crisis as they evolve. As such, the ASPCA Adoption Center in New York City is currently closed for in-person visitors. However, we are excited to offer remote adoptions using video conferencing! In-person meet-and-greets are also sometimes available or required for specific animals. Please check out our available cats and dogs above, and if one catches your eye, apply directly for him or her. An ASPCA Matchmaker will let you know if the animal you are interested in adopting is eligible for or requires an in-person meet-and-greet.

Please note: Adoption applications are handled in the order they are received and submitting an adoption survey does not constitute a hold or guaranteed adoption. You can expect to receive automated emails updating you on your adoption status as our Matchmakers go through applications. Thank you for your patience, and we hope you find your match!**
