Rogue's Story
Meet Rogue! This little lady is 5 years old, weighs about 6 pounds, and has so much love to give.

Rogue is a gentle soul whose favorite place is tucked beside her person or snuggled under a cozy blanket. She spends much of her day napping, and because she gets chilly easily, she's happy to wear a cute sweater. Toys aren't a priority for this girl--comfort and companionship are!

Rogue gets along with cats and other dogs, though she feels safest taking her time and keeping a little distance. She may need some patience as she settles in, but her sweet personality is worth the wait. Once she feels comfortable, she'll greet you in the morning with her belly ready for rubs and keep you company at bedtime.

She is crate trained and happy to rest in her crate, especially when she can see her surroundings. Rogue is also housetrained, but she doesn't signal when she needs to go outside. Regular potty breaks help her succeed, and she can hold it for several hours.

Rogue has a few particular dining preferences: she'll eat kibble from a bowl, but she currently won't take wet food or drink water from one. Her adopter will need to help her get enough fluids, which may include offering wet food with a little added water in a way she's comfortable accepting.

With a little patience, a warm blanket, and plenty of love, Rogue is ready to become someone's very best friend.

To apply to have your home considered for adoption, read about our adoption process or fees, and find out about interstate transport, please visit our website at https://longwayhome.org/adopt.

❤
Long Way Home makes no guarantees on breed--most animals we receive from shelters are mixed breeds.
