When we met him, he was tethered to a dog house by a short chain, wrapped around his neck. That was his world. No room to run, no outlet for his energy, no chance to learn or trust.<br/><br/>And yet within just a week of being given a real chance, Roger began to change.<br/><br/>The dog who once kept his distance is now seeking connection. The one who didnt understand people is learning that hands can bring comfort, not just control. Hes brighter, happier, and starting to show us the dog he was always meant to be.<br/><br/>Roger is a high-energy, intelligent young Shepherd. Because he had no way to burn off that energy early on, he developed a strong fixation on chasing cars.
