Meet Roger a 6 yr old, 60 lb Labradoodle . He is a fun loving, social pup<br/>who is a great family dog and an excellent walking, running and hiking partner. <br/>He is laid back in the house, great fun outside and he enjoys kids and other dogs. Who could ask for more?<br/><br/>Roger is quite experienced with kids and he gets along very well with them. He is loving and affectionate with the little ones. But, he also has some expectations where they are concerned. He wants them to be kind and gentle with him the way that he is with them. He is uncomfortable with rough or aggressive children just like he is with aggressive, impolite dogs. One thing he doesn’t like at all is other dogs taking his food! Aggressive energy of any kind is not his thing at all. And, he sets limits to protect his own well-being. Very savvy guy!<br/><br/>Walking, running and sniffing are all very high on his list of favourite things to do - except if he hears loud, noisy trucks! They can really throw him off and make him anxious. Quiet areas for walks like parks are much better for him than loud, busy streets! A lot of people would totally agree with Roger! He's had some basic training and so far he knows sit, stay, down and a few other commands. Labradoodles like Roger are intelligent, very trainable and eager to learn so he just needs time and attention to master his skills. His recall isn’t perfect, but he has the right idea so patience and positive reinforcement practice will help. <br/><br/>Staying alone for the day isnt a problem for Roger. He just chills and waits for his people to come home. He doesn’t bark or chew or create any kind of chaos at all. And, when he is in the yard for a bit he is very well mannered, quiet, happy and quite content to look around.
