Roge

Roge is a rescue from the local shelter and is a true mixed breed. A DNA analysis was done and she is a mix of 19 different breeds.. She is 2.5 years old, 30 pounds, and is very loyal and wants to protect her home. She will bark at strangers. Roge is very friendly BUT when first meeting people she must instigate the interaction. Once she does and realizes you're going to treat her well, she doesn't want to leave your side (except to play with her canine friends or chase a ball). She really enjoys going on walks and playing with her toys. Her other favorite activities are playing fetch and running around with her dog friends. Because she is treat oriented, she will become fast friends with the treat giver and can be readily trained (we've already taught her how to sit and come). Roge will go to the bathroom outside when she is walked and when allowed outside enough times during the day. She seems to be afraid of young children so households with children over 15 only. When we got her from the shelter, she was very fearful of people (we know nothing about her previous life prior to the shelter). Now, she's much better, but because she can be fearful with new people, we don't recommend families with children under 15 adopting her.<br/><br/><br/>All our dogs are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed and given flea medication.
