Dogs - maybe but best just the two of them
Cats - tested and not much interest
Kids - teenage possibly, adult home would be preferred


Abbey (pitbull) and Rodney(chihuahua) are the cutest senior pair you've ever met! These two were brought back to the shelter after being adopted in 2017 due to some changes in the home. We welcomed them back with open arms and discovered while they look a little older they are the same sweet and funny dogs we remembered. Abbey and Rodney must be adopted together as they are quite bonded and do everything together.

We believe they are likely around 13-14 years old and have both had a full exam and senior bloodwork since coming back. Abbey has some ongoing ear issues but has been treated with a long acting medicine. Abbey is a bit over weight and could stand to loose a few pounds (can't we all!) and we've started her on a joint supplement. Otherwise her bloodwork looked good. Tennis balls seem to be her favorite toy and she'll play a slow game of fetch.

Rodney had a good exam and bloodwork as well and we've also started him on a joint supplement. He is a funny little guy who is very food motivated and loves to play. Both have been on a short walk and at the vet encountered other dogs in the waiting room and didn't seem too concerned.

We hope that there is a special home waiting for these two to spend the rest of their lives in!
