She was found near the highway by Colonsay and brought safely to the SPCA. Thankfully, we were able to contact her family, who shared that Rocky was raised on a farm but had recently begun roaming. After she made it all the way to the highway, they made the heartbreaking decision to surrender her so she could find a safer home.<br/><br/>Rocky absolutely adores people and never turns down belly rubs. She walks well on leash but can get excited and pull when she sees other dogs or passing cars. She has been improving on this with training. For this reason, a quieter home in a low-traffic area would be the perfect match for her.<br/><br/>She’s dog-selective, so proper introductions are a must.
