Rocky's Story

What a cute chocolatey muffin! Rocky is estimated to be about 9 months old and weighs 30 pounds right now.

Meet Rocky, a happy-go-lucky pup with a heart as big as his playful personality! He is always up for a game of fetch and will dutifully bring the ball back to you (he's a good boy like that). Rocky just loves the snow, it is really fun to watch him play in it! He's also super smart and eager to please, making him very trainable. He's learning new tricks like "drop it" and is working on his manners, like not jumping up for attention. Rocky craves closeness and has a soft personality, making him the perfect snuggle buddy after a long day of adventures. He's looking for a family who can give him direction, reassurance, and, most importantly, love. Could you be the one to offer this affectionate pup his forever home? He will need a home where any children are at least 4 years old.

If there is another nice doggy sibling in the home, Rocky would love to meet them. He has an “all in” very excited approach with a soft body.

If you are interested in Rocky and are at least 21 years old, please come to our kennel during business hours, make an appointment, or fill out an application at k9stray.com and an adoption counselor will be in touch. We look forward to helping you find your new best friend!

*Please check your lease agreements for breed/weight restrictions prior to applying. We also do not do cat testing, so we do not know how a dog will do with cats. Not all dogs are available to go home on the same day you first meet.*
