We cannot guarantee the breed of any animal in our care and the breed listed is simply our best guess based on observation.

If you're interested in adopting or having a one on one meet and greet, fill out an application by visiting safepawsia.org.

ADOPTION FEE: $400

GOOD WITH CATS: Yes (may need dog savvy cat)

GOOD WITH DOGS: Yes

GOOD WITH KIDS: Yes but 8 - 10+ due to puppy manners

KNOWN COMMANDS: Sit, Stay, Kennel, No.

KNOWN HOUSEBREAKING: Good but occasional accidents in kennel or around the house

KNOWN KENNELING: Kennels well and is quiet

KNOWN LEASH: Decent on a leash

KNOWN LIKES: All types of toys, fuzzy blankets, playing with his dog friends, getting pets and attention without being like Velcro, treats!

KNOWN DISLIKES: Other dogs being too forceful when trying to play.

FROM THE FOSTER: Hello, Rocky!

Rocky is a young mixed breed boy who was found as a stray on the streets with another dog. He is a smaller dog, weighing about 20lbs with a short stubby tail.

Rocky does VERY well in his kennel and does not whine or cry. It really is his little bedroom! He does still have occasional potty accidents in the house but each day gets better. He knows that when he sees his leash it's time to go outside and he is always SO excited! He loves rolling around in the fresh snow and playing with his friends.

Rocky enjoys attention but is not overly snuggly or cuddly and will give you space to go sleep in the comfiest spot he can find.

He is a bit of a trash digger, but takes correction well and will be very easy to train--especially with his obsession for treats and food.

If Rocky sounds like he might be a match, please apply to set up a meet and greet! He is ready to find his family!
