Meet Rocky

Rocky was adopted by a loving family one year ago . After many trainers and thought the family have decided to re-home this male 1-yr old boxer. The family is so very heartbroken but decided they are not able to give him a safe environment to live in. After a year of trying, their older dog has reached a point of dangerous aggression towards Rocky. It’s not the life either of them deserve. He is Neutered, Microchipped, Potty-Trained,Crate-trained,Good with kids and Up-to-date with vaccines. “Honestly not sure how he would do around other animals. He has not been socially exposed to any animal but our older dog, which has been a negative experience for the most part. Our trainer had said he may be nervous or anxious around other animals because of that. The last time we were at the vet, he was trying to hide under my legs as we waited in the lobby. There was once instance where he showed some aggression towards our older dog and we were all very surprised but it was right before he started with symptoms and got sick. Dr said it’s not uncommon for a change in behavior when a dog isn’t feeling well. Aside from that, he genuinely seemed interested in trying to interact with our other dog, but our older dog just wouldn’t tolerate him”- adopter
He was treated for meningitis in February. Doctor treated him presumptuously and he responded to the treatment. He is given meds 3 times a day with food.
