Rocky

[7/25/2024] Rocky is a 9 week old Australian Shepherd mix puppy. He was pulled into our program from an under resourced shelter in rural Mississippi. <br/><br/>Rocky is an absolute sweetheart. He is relatively low key so far (though this could change as he gets older) and is the calmer of the two siblings. Rocky is an intelligent puppy and you can tell he tries to think before making decisions. He has already learned how to sit and is doing well on house training - he will go to the door for the most part to try to alert you he needs to go out. **Please do not expect him to be housetrained, he is just a puppy. Rocky is working on crate training and is sleeping at least halfway through the night, although he does also like to sleep in the fosters bed when allowed. <br/><br/>Rocky is currently being fostered in a family environment, where he is being socialized with children and other pets. He is friendly to all and is just a baby puppy. <br/><br/>Rocky is currently located near Jackson MS and is available to be transported up north the weekend of August 16th to the following dropoff destinations: Wytheville, VA Hagerstown, MD Harrisburg, PA Allentown, PA Oakland, NJ Newburgh, NY Enfield, CT Brattleboro, VT and Albany, NY. <br/><br/>Rocky will arrive to you with 3 sets of DAPPV vaccinations, Bordatella vaccine and rabies vaccine. He will be neutered, microchipped and up to date on heartworm/flea preventative. All animals travel with a health certificate issued by a state licensed veterinarian.
