Hi friends! My name is Rocky – but my favorite nickname is Rocky the Rocket Man ?. People usually call me that when I get the zoomies, when I’m outside, or when I know a treat is coming my way. I don’t just do regular zoomies though – I zoom with my nose to the ground, which makes me extra silly and fun to watch!<br/><br/>I’ll admit, I sometimes jump up on people, but it’s only because I really want your attention and I just love being around people so much. My ears are the best – they perk up when you make funny noises, and I think that’s one of my cutest features.<br/><br/>I already know how to sit and lay down, especially if tasty treats are involved. I’m playful, affectionate, and full of personality – everything you’d want in a best friend.

Madison County Animal Shelter's Adoption Policy

Potential adopters are able to meet and greet with any adoptable animals. If they are interested in adopting anyone they will need to fill out an adoption application. The adoption application includes general care information, landlord and home information, as well as background. If the application is approved, adopters are given the option to pick out a leash, harness, collar, and toys for their new pet. Shelter ensures that all appropriate needs are met (they should have had: Microchip, vaccines ect) adoption fee is paid, and then adopters can take their pets home!
