Meet Rocky, the sweetest boy you’ll ever meet! This handsome pup absolutely loves people and wants nothing more than to be close to you, soaking up pets and giving you plenty of kisses in return. He’s also an eager explorer who would make a great adventure buddy for walks, hikes, or any outing by your side. Rocky is still figuring out the fun of toys, but with a little encouragement, he’ll be playing in no time! He can be a bit nervous in new environments or around unfamiliar sounds, but with gentle reassurance from his people, he quickly learns that everything’s okay. Rocky gets along well with other dogs, adores treats, and has a heart full of love to give. He’s a good, sweet boy looking for a forever home where he can feel safe, loved, and part of the family. Rocky is neutered, current on vaccinations, and microchipped. His adoption fee is $150. Humane Society of Truckee-Tahoe's Adoption Policy

Every pet adopted from the Humane Society of Truckee-Tahoe will be spayed or neutered, vaccinated & microchipped. Our adoption fees are as follows: Dogs (over four months) = $150 Puppies (under four months) = $200 Cats (over four months) = $75 Kittens (under four months) = $100 Adoption fees will be due upon completion of adoption. Cash, check or credit cards are gladly accepted. Our shelter is open to the public Monday through Saturday from 1:00 PM to 6:00 pm. We are located at 10961 Stevens Lane in Truckee just off Donner Pass Rd. east of downtown.
