Rocky

Meet Rocky! He is the definition of a gentle, loving companion. He's wonderful with dogs, cats, kids, and absolutely everyone he meets. He's a total couch potato who loves relaxing and being close to his people, but he also enjoys spending time outside and taking in all the sights and smells.

He can be a little nervous on a leash and isn't quite sure about walks yet, but he's making progress and gaining confidence every day. With patience and encouragement, he's sure to keep improving!
He would especially love a home with another friendly dog to play and hang out with. If you're looking for a sweet, easygoing boy with a gentle heart and lots of love to give, he might just be your perfect match!

When Rocky arrived at Lucky 13, he was diagnosed with Ehrlichiosis, a condition that occurs when dogs are bitten by an infected tick. He has received treatment and has experienced no further issues since. If necessary in the future, certain antibiotics, particularly doxycycline, are highly effective. This treatment is the preferred choice as it is readily available and generally well tolerated. This cannot be contracted to humans or other pets.

Rocky is neutered, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, and current on heartworm prevention. His adoption fee is $225.

Apply to adopt Rocky:
https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/LUCK/Dog or www.lucky13rescue.org
