Rocky is very sweet, a little shy at first but warms up quickly. He can be goofy and silly sometimes. He is housebroken and crate trained, however if left alone for 8+ hours in a crate he becomes very stressed and will have accident. He has been started on a anti depressant that really helps his anxiety when left alone. He is calmer now and has had no accidents since starting it. He gets along well with other dogs, but does not care for large male dogs that try to dominate him. He is a lover and really doesn't want to fight so he tries to bluff his way out of them. He has done well with children at our Petco events but there are no children in his foster home. He will need a fenced yard and would do best with someone that works from home or has someone at home most of the time. Rocky is a love bug and really enjoys being brushed, snuggled with and just hanging out with the family. Rocky is going to make some family a wonderful companion.

Furry Kids' Refuge is in need of good quality dog and puppy food with meat as the first ingredient. You can drop off donations at our weekly adoption events at the Lee's Summit Petco (1860 NW Chipman Road, Lee's Summit, MO), Saturdays only from 11am to 2:00 p.m. Donations are tax deductible as allowed by law.
