Rocky's Story
Mr. Rocky was recently returned to us after losing the person his world revolved around. He is an incredibly sweet and tender soul who thrives on connection. Rocky does very well with other dogs and would love a home with one or two canine companions. He is also friendly with kitty cats.
Rocky enjoys plush toys, chewies, all kinds of treats, long lounging sessions, cozy cuddles, and he is a big fan of walks. He is happiest when close to his person or family and can experience some anxiety when left alone. He is crate trained and able to relax in a crate for a few hours at a time when needed.
Rocky can be a bit shy and nervous when meeting new people, sometimes hanging back until he feels safe. He has a soft spot for the ladies, though a kind, patient man could likely earn his trust and affection. Once he bonds, Rocky is deeply loving and devoted. He is housebroken and lights up the moment he hears the word walk. He is truly accustomed to being someone’s moon and stars and is ready to find that kind of love again.

Weight: 43 pounds
Age: 5 years
Other Dogs: Yes, prefers to be with other dogs
Cats: Friendly
Kids: 8+
Home Type: semi-active home.
