Rocky is our second longest-term resident, and he's been part of our SCI Chester foster program since August 2025. In that time, he has become the definition of resilience and determination, and honestly, one of the most incredible transformations we've ever seen.<br/><br/>When we first pulled Rocky from ACCT, he was a friendly, eager, very mouthy puppy who just needed guidance. Since then, he's not only matured, he's overcome more than most dogs ever have to. Rocky bravely went through surgery to have a tumor the size of a grapefruit removed from his abdomen, and he came out the other side stronger than ever.<br/><br/>Thanks to the dedication of his handlers, Rocky has blossomed into a calm, composed and well-trained gentleman. And don't worry, he hasn't lost his fun side! He still knows how to play, be goofy, and soak up every bit of love he can get.<br/><br/>Rocky has been overlooked for far too long, but to us, he's one of our greatest success stories.
