Hi there!<br/><br/>My name is Rockie and I'm currently searching for my forever home. I've made leaps and bounds since coming to my foster home and I am ready to find a place to call all my own. <br/><br/>I'm a sweet girl who is about 2 years old, and I weigh around 65 pounds. I'm spayed. I'm smart as a whip, I learn quickly, and I enjoy outsmarting my foster mom daily. I'm crate trained and house broken, and I am learning my leash manners. I'd absolutely love a family or person who can keep up with me. Bonus points if you love training, because learning is one of my most favorite things. I am also keen on snuggling on the couch with my foster mom, so I'm pretty well rounded if I do say so myself. <br/><br/>One important thing to know when considering adopting me is that I'll need someone who understands that I'm still learning that not all people are bad or scary. Loud noises and sudden movements really frighten me, so I would do best in a home with older kids/teens, if any. My confidence is consistently improving, but please have patience with me. I started out quite shy and untrusting because of my previous humans, but I like to think I'm pretty smart and I thoroughly enjoy a challenge. For this reason, my foster mom believes that my perfect fit will be a person or family who can focus on building a relationship with me and allows me to stay active.<br/><br/>My foster family thinks that I am “dog selective”, whatever that means, so I would prefer to be the only dog in your home. If you already have a four legged sibling for me, I'd definitely need to meet her/him before I am able to move in with you. And while we're on the subject, I do not care for cats much either so please no murder mittens in my new home. <br/><br/>I'm a really great girl, with adorable floppy ears and I know I'll make a wonderful adventure buddy.
