I'm am from Minnesota.<br/><br/>It has been such a treat having Mary Lou (also known as Rocket) stay with us! She is such a funny and loving girl.<br/><br/>She is 3 years old but is still very much a puppy. Mary Lou is very energetic and absolutely loves to play! It's either catch with her balls outside, tugging and playing with her stuffed animals inside, or her new favorite game of hide and seek. It is one of the cutest things ever when she gets the zoomies with her ears flopping as she runs. Mary Lou is also good about entertaining herself and will settle down and work on a bone if it isn't time for playing together. And then a good nap on the couch or under your desk at your feet is also appreciated. When it's nice outside she also just likes to sniff around the backyard and then take a stretch in the sun.<br/><br/>She has never had any accidents in the house and isn't destructive in the least, but she prefers to be in the company of others and does best when not left alone for too long. She is happiest when it's a day that we work from home. Mary Lou loves to be right by your side! <br/><br/>Mary Lou has come such a long way since she first arrived at our house. She is on meds for her anxiety and is working hard with her trainer. (her adoption includes some ongoing training sessions) She is very smart and we've noticed a ton of improvement in the time she's been with us. If you can put in the time to help her feel safe and see how great life can be, you will undoubtedly be rewarded with many great years together. She's a really wonderful and silly friend!<br/><br/>Because of her anxiety, slow introductions with people continue to be necessary. A home with a fenced in yard and no shared walls are also necessary. A quieter street would be amazing for her. For now, she would thrive being the only animal in the household.<br/><br/>Mary Lou is a real gem with her charming smile, her sweet snores, her enthusiasm for playing, her love of treats, her silly way of running after her ball, how she prances around the yard, and her strong snuggle drive.<br/><br/>My adoption contract will include 3 training sessions and my adopters can choose foster to adopt where Rocket could live with an interested applicant for 1 month before moving forward with adoption.
