Rocket's Story

Rocket is a 1.5 y/o 20 lb. male Schnauzer Mix, neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on vaccines. He did test positive for heartworms but is currently being treated by slow-kill which consists of antibiotics and monthly heartworm preventative. He is people friendly and good with other dogs. Not fully tested but seems to be potty trained. Good vet history, a securely fenced yard (at least a 6 ft wooden fence as he is an escape artist!), and a live or virtual home visit is required for approval. Apply online to be considered: http://secondchancedogrescuela.org/adopt-a-dog-2/adoption-application/.
