Rocket's Story
Rocket entered our program with a training sponsorship, meaning he will learn all the necessary life skills and leash manners to succeed in his future home.

Rocket settles nicely in his crate, is social with everyone he meets, is learning polite dog manners so he doesn't overwhelm his new friends, can place (down/stay) while home life goes on around him, waits to be invited through thresholds, walks politely on leash, and is respectful of resources (food/toys).

Rocket appears to have missed out on adventures, so new places can be distracting for him, but he's a brave boy and doesn't flee, he just needs guidance, encouragement, and leverage to move through new life experiences confidently.

Rocket would do well in an active home, with older and respectful kids, he could do well with the right packmate, and cats are still a question, but we're working on testing him.
