Meet Rock! He's a three month old hound mix with a heart of gold! This adorable pup found himself in an overcrowded shelter alongside his siblings, but now he’s ready to find his forever home. Rock is a true sweetheart who’s ready to shower his new family with love and affection. Rock is a bundle of energy and joy. In his foster home he loves making new friends and playing with toys... probably the first toys he's ever played with!

Hounds are known to be loyal dogs, great for families with or without kids. Coonhounds are loving, make very loyal pets, and are a marvelous source of humor due to their quirky personalities. Rock is great with other dogs and kids. He'd probably be fine with cats as well but we can do more assessing if you have kitties at home.

Rock is a smart boy and quickly adapting to the routine at his foster home.He’s almost completely crate trained and is quickly picking up on housetraining. His foster family is working patiently on leash and harness training, knowing that with time and dedication, Rock will become the perfect companion for his new family. Rock is microchipped and up-to-date on vaccinations. He will be neutered prior to arriving at his forever home. We can only predict but not guarantee his full-grown size. The dog you are considering is located in South Mississippi. We conduct virtual meet and greets for out-of-town applicants and offer transport (the adoption fee includes transport to your location) to many neighboring and northeastern states. At this time we are not able to transport into Massachusetts and Rhode Island.
