Rocco's Story

This is Rocco, and he’s looking for a home 🐾

Rocco was born on September 9, 2020, and he’s a smart, affectionate, people-loving dog who is happiest when he’s right by your side. He’s the kind of dog who wants to be with you, curled up on the couch, sleeping nearby, or heading out on a road trip. He’s an excellent travel companion and settles in easily wherever his people are.

Rocco is looking for a home where he can be the only dog. He truly thrives when he doesn’t have to navigate canine dynamics. In the right environment, Rocco is relaxed, loving, and deeply bonded to his humans.

He’s well trained and eager to please, with professional training under his belt. Rocco knows commands like heel, place, come, down, off, and more. He is kennel trained, house trained, and familiar with using a dog door, making him an easy addition to the right home.

At heart, Rocco is a couch potato who loves to cuddle and soak up attention. His tail was docked earlier in life due to severe happy tail, an issue that came from having too much joy and enthusiasm.

Rocco is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and overall a happy, healthy guy. He’s only been around older children, so we recommend a home with older kids or adults only.

This is a courtesy post for a family who loves Rocco very much and wants what’s best for him and their other dogs. We believe Rocco will do best in a home where he can be the center of someone’s world and enjoy a calm, predictable environment as the only pup.

If you think Rocco might be the right fit for your home, please reach out. We’d love to help make the introduction.
