Rocco is a 6 year old Treeing Walker Coonhound.

What do you know about this coonhound?
One thing this breed is known for is....they simply love food. They will eat their entire share of a meal and they’ll go for your share too, if they can get to it!
Rocco will bow and sit for treats. He enjoys the challenge of puzzle feeders to play for his food. And, he would love to share a bite of whatever you are having!
Rocco’s favorite foods are beefy treats, peanut butter sandwiches, and bacon. But he’s willing to try all the foods on your plate!

While Rocco has been waiting at the Sanctuary almost 2 years for his family, he has been busy with formal obedience training and would be a good fit for doing agility.
He knows place, down, sit, shake, wait and watch (he has great eye contact), recall. Rocco drools for his bones, hooves, kongs, treats and will perform all of his commands to get these rewards.
Rocco loves his walks, when he can sniff, sniff, sniff, and he walks well on leash. He is very good in the car and would cherish that time spent with you.
Of course, this coonhound is at home outdoors watching everything around him.
Rocco is very friendly with people, and older children would best.
Rocco will love his family with all his heart and wants to go with you... car travels, walks, running, parks...anywhere.
Rocco does not want to share his family or activities with any other pets. He has waited too long to find the loves of his life. He hopes he can be your one and only love!
