🐾 Rocco’s Story — From a Dumping Ground to Hope 🐾<br/><br/>Rocco was found in a dumping area in Texas by Zully — starving, covered in mange, and forgotten. Had she not been passing by that day, Rocco’s chances of survival would have been almost none. He was just a baby, discarded like he didn’t matter.<br/><br/>When we learned about Rocco, we reached out to Zully and told her we would take him into our rescue. There was no hesitation.<br/><br/>Rex drove from the Dallas area to Cleveland to make sure Rocco was safe. From there, Rocco was taken to Family Pet Care in Fort Worth, where he received the medical care, nourishment, and love he so desperately needed. The staff adored him — especially Shannon, who would take Rocco home on weekends so he wouldn’t have to be alone. That love changed everything. ❤️<br/><br/>Today, Rocco is unrecognizable from the puppy found in that dumping ground. He has blossomed into a beautiful, sweet, and affectionate boy and is now being fostered in Peekskill, NY.<br/><br/>Rocco is under a year old, loves people, is wonderful with other dogs, and doesn’t seem to mind the resident cat.
