His whine was soft and pitiful, his eyes were so sad. His sweet and affectionate nature has stayed intact, however.<br/>Thanks to a generous donor, he was placed in boarding, learning good manners so that a new family would love him forever and always keep him safe. But boarding is not a family!!!! He’s spent a year waiting. Learning. Healing. Showing us who he is.<br/>And what we know is simple: Rocco wants to be your one and only.<br/><br/>Rocco is very affectionate and loves to cuddle.<br/>He is crate-trained and never barks or whines while in his crate. Rocco is heartworm negative and on heartworm prevention.<br/>Although he gets along with other dogs, he wants to be the alpha male, that's why he should be an only dog. .<br/>Even though Rocco learned good manners, he needs an experienced adopter, someone used to this breed<br/><br/>Then there was a moment… a real chance.<br/>A weekend trial run.
