Roady's Story
Roady was found dumped on the side of the road with his three siblings, doing whatever he had to do to survive. Despite that heartbreaking beginning, Roady is one of the sweetest, happiest, most affectionate puppies you could imagine.

Now safe in a loving foster home with his brother, Roady spends his days playing nonstop, soaking up cuddles, and spreading joy everywhere he goes. He is funny, loving, and unbelievably soft—the kind of puppy you can’t stop petting once you start.

Early on, we were concerned about his front right leg due to an angular limb deformity related to suspected elbow dysplasia. His vet explained that with proper nutrition and exercise, it could improve—and we’re thrilled to say it truly has. His leg is now about 90–95% better, and while you can occasionally notice a very slight difference in his gait, it does not slow him down at all. Roady runs, plays, and wrestles with other puppies like a champ.

Roady is about 4 months old, weighs around 20 pounds, and is a mystery mix. He does great with other dogs, has been wonderful with cats, and while kids are unknown, we expect he’d be just fine with them too.

Adoption fee: $500 (includes vaccines to date, microchip, and neuter surgery)
Apply at www.lakesideanimalrescue.com
