Meet RJ! <br/>RJ is a 9 month old Lab blend who has come such a long way since arriving at the shelter. When he first came to us, he was scared, skinny, and unsure about the people around him. Everything felt new and a little overwhelming.<br/>But with a little patience and kindness, RJ has started to discover that the world is not such a scary place after all. In no time, this sweet boy began to open up, showing us his gentle personality and affectionate side.<br/>RJ is a smart cookie, too. He picked up "sit" and "down" in about five minutes, proving he is eager to learn and loves positive attention. While he still enjoys playful puppy moments, RJ has a slightly more mellow, thoughtful nature and often prefers to soak up affection and spend time close to his people.<br/>RJ is looking for a family who will continue helping him build confidence and keep showing him how kind people and the world can be.
