She gets along wonderfully with other dogs and loves people of all sizes—she’s the kind of dog who fits easily into almost any home.<br/><br/>River is housebroken with the use of a dog door and is a low-energy girl who enjoys a relaxed lifestyle. She does great in a kennel and is an easy, calm companion in the home. She enjoys her walks, loves treats, and is always happy to just be near her people.<br/><br/>This sweet girl has completed her heartworm treatment and is expected to test negative at her next check.<br/><br/>If you’re looking for a loving, mellow dog who’s ready for a fresh start, River might be the perfect match!<br/><br/>Please understand you are committing to providing a good home for her entire life (up to 15+ years or more.)<br/><br/>You must be committed to housebreaking, age-appropriate enrichment and exercise, leash training, grooming needs, and positive socialization.<br/><br/>Her adoption fee is $150. This includes her spay surgery, rabies vaccination, Nobivac® Canine 1-DAPP vaccination, Nobivac® Intra-Trac 3 vaccination, Drontal® Plus, IDEXX SNAP® 4Dx Plus Test, 24PetWatch® microchip, and leash and collar.<br/><br/>Please be aware that puppies and small breed dogs do get adopted quickly so interested parties are encouraged to apply online at www.saspca.org.<br/><br/>Please ensure your application is complete before submitting. Please apply online at http://texasgreatdane.org/adoption-application/**<br/><br/>- IMPORTANT INFORMATION -<br/><br/>SASPCA Homeward Bound Dog Rescue and San Antonio Great Dane Rescue are 501(c)(3) foster-based rescue groups based in San Antonio, Texas.<br/><br/>Our group focuses on assisting open admission shelters in South Texas where over 32,000 dogs and cats are euthanized each year.<br/><br/>Our puppies and dogs are completely vetted and live in foster homes. They are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, and tested for heartworm disease.<br/><br/>All adoptions include one month of flea and heartworm preventative and a leash and collar.<br/><br/>We also host additional adoption events throughout the year.
