You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet RIVER! This handsome fella got his name from the kind man who rescued River while on a fishing trip. River wandered up to him starved and covered in ticks. He also had a wound on his leg. River was very underweight and it was evident to his finder that he needed immediate help! He made every effort to locate his owner. He discovered from some residents in the area that River had been running as a stray for several weeks now. His rescuer knew that he could not leave him so he took him home and got him much needed vet care. River is now 20 pounds heavier and a healthy, happy boy! He loves playing with the dogs in his foster home and is also great with the cats in the home. River walks well on a leash and enjoys going for car rides. He is crate trained and house trained. He is a very smart, sweet boy with tons of love to give his forever family!
