Meet River
River found her forever home down South!
River is a beautiful hound mix who weighs just under 60 pounds at an estimated age of just under 2 years old. She is a total sweet heart! River loves getting pats, going on walks, riding around in the car and generally being included in her humans' day to day activities. She has been in her Tennessee-based foster home since April and gets along nicely with all the dogs there, as well as with the cats.
River is house, leash and crate trained. She would love to find an active family to take her on outdoor adventures, and maybe even a dog sibling to play with.

If you wish to adopt our dogs, please complete an online APPLICATION. You must first be approved by going through our application and screening process.
All dogs are up to date on their shots, dewormed and spayed or neutered.
Vet fees, transport fee and New England quarantine fees ARE INCLUDED in each dog's adoption fee.
Forever Home Rescue makes all of the transportation arrangements.
Forever Home Rescue suggests obedience training for all puppies and dogs.
Any dogs older than pups--even if they are not marked housetrained in their posting---usually housetrain within a day or two, because most are used to living outside in the South and will prefer to do their business outdoors.
Our dogs and pups are best suited for families with children 5 yrs old and up.
