River American Bulldog Mount Airy, NC

River is estimated to be between 4 and 5 years old. She is a bulldog mix with a lot of personality and love to give. She is house and crate trained. However, she has been in boarding for a bit and will likely need a "refresher course" in house training upon moving to a home.
River is a big, friendly girl who gives the best kisses (assuming you like sloppy kisses and who doesn’t?) She wound up at the animal shelter through no fault of her own and has been with rescue since before Christmas! During her rescue time, she’s been a terrific hit at Mardi Growl and two adoption events where she soaked up lots of attention, but didn’t find a home. She’s made lots of doggy friends in her foster home and watched them move on without her. River is about 4 years old, just out of the puppy stage but still full of playful energy. She’s spayed, up to date on vaccines and is currently taking heartworm, flea and tick preventative medication. She has never met a stranger and likes most dogs. In doggy play, she enjoys wild games and would do great with a canine sibling of similar size and energy. She also enjoys a good snuggle after her romps so be ready.
