Despite that, the staff poured time and care into him, and he made huge progress -- but the noise and constant activity kept him from truly coming out of his shell.<br/><br/>Here, we've learned one big thing about Riven: **he absolutely lights up around other dogs.** They give him confidence, show him how to be brave, and help him understand that humans can be trusted. For that reason, he **must** go to a home with another dog who can continue guiding him.<br/><br/>Riven is incredibly sweet, gentle, and very treat-motivated -- the perfect combo for training. What he needs now is a patient adopter, a calm home, and a **secure yard** where he can explore and practice being a "normal dog" at his own pace.
