Rita's Story
Meet Rita ? The Spunky Sweetheart with Boxer Energy and a Big Heart!

Rita is a 2-year-old, 45-pound pit bull/boxer mix with a whole lot of love and a little bit of sass. She was rescued from a tough situation and has been thriving in foster care—learning routines, soaking up affection, and showing off her goofy, lovable spirit.

She’s fully vetted, spayed, crate trained, house trained, and ready for her next chapter! Rita is a high-energy gal who loves her humans (especially once she knows you) and bonds deeply. While new faces—especially hat-wearing, sunglass-rocking men—can make her nervous at first, give her a little time and she’ll be your ride-or-die cuddle buddy.

Rita is friendly with other dogs but wouldn’t mind being the center of attention either. She does have a strong prey drive, so no cats or small animals, please. She’s working hard on her leash manners (and crushing it!), responds well to training, and thrives in a calm, structured home with fewer new people coming and going.

If you’re looking for a fun, loyal, compact adventure buddy who’s equal parts zoomies and snuggles, Rita might just be your girl.

Looking for a one-and-only with a wiggly butt and heart of gold? Rita's ready.

Please apply at: www.realgood.dog/adopt
