And we truly don't know why.<br/><br/>Rita came to IPR when she was just three weeks old. We've watched her grow from a tiny puppy into the sweetest, calmest little lady, and now she's celebrated her **first birthday without a family of her own.**<br/><br/>Rita is the kind of dog who makes people stop at events. She's a total showstopper, soaking up the attention, meeting new people, and taking everything in stride. While the world is happening around her, Rita is perfectly content just hanging out and being part of it.<br/><br/>She's **crate trained, house trained, great with people and kids, and gets along with dogs of all sizes.** She still enjoys playing, exploring, going to the park, and a good game of tug, but she's just as happy settling down on a comfy bed or curling up with her people.<br/><br/>She's spent her entire life waiting for someone to finally pick **her**.<br/><br/>Rita isn't asking for anything crazy.
