Rita's Story
Meet Rita! ?
DOB: 06/26/2025

Rita might be small, but she’s packed with personality, energy, and a whole lot of sass! She came to IPR at just three weeks old with her siblings, and she’s been the bold little adventurer of the bunch ever since.

This girl lives for fun — tug-of-war, park trips, zoomies in the yard, and the occasional attempt to chase a chicken or two. Rita’s an active, curious pup who loves being part of the action. After she’s burned off her energy, she’ll happily curl up on a soft bed (or your lap) for a quick power nap before heading back out for round two.

Rita is crate trained and making progress on house training. She’s great with people and kids, and gets along with other dogs of all sizes. She’s still learning her manners — sometimes she grumbles when being scooped up — but with consistency and love, she’ll outgrow those little quirks in no time.

Rita would thrive in an active home that loves to play, explore, and keep up with her big personality. If you’re looking for a smart, spunky pup who will keep life interesting and full of laughs, Rita’s your girl!

To apply, visit rescueapittie.org

**All puppies are required to be in a home with an adult dog**
