Ripp's Story

Ripp is a one year old large mixed breed. He is active, intelligent, and always eager to explore his surroundings. During his stay at the Mendocino Coast Humane Society, Ripp has displayed an earnest interest in training. He responds to commands delightedly, happy to show his humans whatever new tricks he has learned. While having a sharp mind is always a bonus, Ripp's greatest qualities are his unfaltering loyalty and relentlessly optimistic spirit. Ripp is a paragon of unconditional love. Ripp has been tested with other dogs at the Mendocino Coast Humane Society, and enjoys spending time running around the yards with his friends. He may do well in a home with another dog with a slow introduction. Based on our evaluations, Ripp would do best in a cat-free home. He has done well with children in short interactions, but he has shown stranger-danger tendencies towards unfamiliar men. Ripp would thrive in a structured home with experienced dog owners who maintain an active lifestyle, and are able to provide plenty of love and exercise for him. Ripp's adoption fee is $150.00.

Mendocino Coast Humane Society's Adoption Policy
Through our Adoptions Program, we offer a variety of wonderful animals who are deserving of a loving, responsible home.  Our adoption fees include spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccinations, microchip, de-worming, flea treatment, as well as heartworm, feline leukemia and FIV testing.  In addition to being open Monday through Saturday, we also extend our adoption programs reach with our Mobile Pet Adoptions van, which enables us to go into our community with adoptable animals in Mendocino as well as Fort Bragg.  We also feature an adoptable animal weekly on Skunk Radio and in local newspapers. We want you! MCHS is always looking for volunteers. We need people to train dogs, take them out for walks, and to hang out with the cats in our Kitty Cottage. To find out more email us at info@mendocinohumane.org or call us at 964-SPAY.  Website: mendocinohumane.org We are located at 19691 Summers Lane, Fort Bragg, Ca.
