Rip's Story

Rip is a 2 1/2 yo Labrador Am Staffy mix that weighs about 50lbs. Rip has only been here a short time and we are still getting to know him.

He is very timid at first and needs lots of reassurance. Once he starts to feel comfortable, he becomes more open. It takes him longer to get used to men

He wants to be around his people as much as possible; he does not like being in a room or crated when people are home. He enjoys being outside and running in the yard.

He has done well with the dogs he has been introduced to, but introductions need to be slow and controlled. He has also done well with the cats. He is protective of his people and his home. He has had some training and knows basic commands.

Rip has a friendly personality and strong characteristics and would be a great addition to any family.
