Rio

Rio is a big, handsome boy with an even bigger heart. He gets along well with the other dogs in his foster home and is calm and well-mannered indoors. Outside is his happy place! He loves soaking up the fresh air and playing with his squeaky toys.<br/><br/>Squeaky toys are his absolute favorite, and he’s perfectly happy entertaining himself. Rio doesn’t like to share high-value items, so he’ll need space from other dogs when his favourite toys are around. He’s a big fan of cuddles and happily soaks up affection.<br/><br/>We’re currently working on his “selective hearing” when it’s time to come back inside. He can be a little stubborn if he’s having too much fun! He rides great in the car and jumps in without hesitation. Rio is on a journey toward a healthier weight, enjoying extra walks and playtime to help him feel his very best. He’s also recovering from a leg wound that continues to improve every day. <br/><br/>At 4 years old, Rio is ready to find a home that can give him as much love as he is big!
