Rio is still searching for his family! He loves his foster family, and they love him back. However he's really overdue to find his forever home. He was one of a number of dogs in the home that needed new homes, and we were able to take 3 of them. The other two dogs were adopted, but Rio is still waiting. <br/><br/>He's a young dog, a rat terrier mix about 3 years old, who will be a great addition to a family! he is not a large dog - he weighs only about 20 lbs. <br/><br/>Rio is a friendly boy who is somewhat timid when he first meets new people or encounters new situations. He warms up quickly! There's no aggression - he's just a little scared at first.<br/><br/>He loves other dogs and we would like to see him in a home with at least one other dog. He was best friends with a dog in his former home, and seems to love having a canine companion or two.<br/><br/>He would be happy to live with children 10 years old or older.<br/><br/>He is neutered and up to date with vaccines.<br/><br/>Rio is a wonderful boy who will make a great family member!
