Hi, I'm Rio! <br/><br/>I'm a Goldendoodle with a sweet heart and a whole lot of love just waiting to bloom. I was a little scared when I first arrived, but with some patience, gentle voices, and a cozy place to rest, I'm starting to discover that the world isn't so scary after all! I've already made friends with my foster family's dogs, and having furry friends around helps me feel safe and confident. I'm also learning new things, exploring the yard (my favorite place!), practicing my stairs, and even accepting treats from my humans!<br/><br/>I'm still building my confidence, so I'll need a family who will let me warm up at my own pace and show me that I'm safe!

We are currently operating by appointment only. If you are interested in adopting a new pet, please visit our website at https://www.hsdcohio.org/adoptable to complete an application. Once it is processed, one of our staff members will give you a call to discuss the animal you are interested in meeting. If it is decided the animal is a good match, an appointment will be scheduled at that time. Staff try to make the best match possible for both the animal and the adopter. An individual must be at least 18 years old and reside within the state of Ohio. As an adopter, you are responsible for ensuring compliance with local laws and any leasing restrictions, if appropriate.
