Rio is a very sweet and loving 1 yr old Border Collie mix who loves to play with people, dog buddies and toys. He loves to get out his zoomies and then lounge around at your feet. In general he is very sweet and low key. He has learned some simple commands and is incredibly smart and motivated to please. He will be the loveliest boy for his forever people. He is neutered, up to date on shots and heartworm tested negative. Paws 4 the Cause's Adoption Policy

Paws 4 the Cause is an all volunteer "no kill" rescue. We do not harm animals, but the more we can adopt out, the more we can take in. We take in the hardest cases, dogs and cats that are close to death or starvation. The adoption fee barely covers a fraction of what we spend. Our average animal costs about $200 for the first month in food and vet fees, and approx. $50 per month thereafter. All donations are used to pay directly for animal food and vet expenses. There are no employee or overhead expenses.
