Ringo's Story
Meet Ringo!

Ringo's passions in life include all manners of food and snacks, being dramatic in situations that require approximately zero drama, and cosplaying as Doctor Eggman from the Sonic the Hedgehog franchise in his free time.

Ringo is, clearly, a multifaceted individual who needs someone that can appreciate his complexity and his flair for theatrics.

This sweet walking mustache is a little over three years old and weighs about 26lbs. He is a poodle/golden retriever mix so, naturally, he is VERY intelligent, VERY high-energy, and a little bit neurotic. He's super playful and social, loves prancing around with a tennis ball or a plushie in his mouth, and is generally just hilarious to watch. He's like a toddler in a costume.

Circling back to Ringo having a flair for the dramatics, he can and will act like he's being hunted for sport the moment anything involves grooming or veterinary care. He WILL need an experienced, patient groomer and he will almost definitely need to be drugged up to his eyeballs for grooming sessions and vet visits for the wellbeing of everyone involved...especially his own.

While Ringo has not shown any aggression or red flags towards other animals, we would prefer an adult-only home (teenagers would probably be okay) where he can be the only animal. He has shown some possessive behavior with treats and with food, though did not escalate to any actual snapping or nipping. He'll just play keepaway and give you some bombastic judgmental side eye if you try to take it from him.

Experienced poodle/poodle mix owners would be a plus - he definitely needs some regular exercise and mental stimulation to help him burn off some of that anxious, "vibrating out of existence" energy that he has.

To apply, visit foreverpaws.com and click adopt to download our application.
