Ringo's Story

I came from a tough situation where the shelter rescued 32 of us from a home we were all crammed into. Because of that, I started out shy and unsure—but I’ve really begun to come out of my shell.

I’m learning that people might just be the best thing ever. They give me pets, treats, and all the love I didn’t know I was missing. I still haven’t figured out what scolding is, so if someone corrects me I tend to panic a bit—but I’m trying my best, and everyone here says I’m worth the patience.

With the staff I trust, I’m a total cuddle bug. I love leaning in for affection and soaking up all the gentle attention I can get.

I’m a little picky with other dogs, but honestly… can you blame me? Living with 31 other dogs in one small home wasn’t exactly the best way to learn healthy dog social skills. With the right match, I may do well, but I’m perfectly happy soaking up human love instead.

If you’re looking for a sweet, sensitive boy who wants nothing more than to feel safe and loved, I might be your guy. ❤️
