Ringo's Story

Ringo is about 4 years old. We took him in when his person passed away. Ringo is currently working on his weight loss journey (76lbs ) and is already seeing great progress with his foster mom's coaching and daycare play time. He enjoys walks and playing tug with his toys and is doing well with the other dogs in his foster home. Little kids and cats are unknown at this time.

Ringo is available through Guardians of the Green Mile (www.gotgm.org) of Portage, IN. Application can be found here: https://www.jotform.us/form/43196636952162Thank you for your interest in adopting a pet from Guardians of the Green Mile Inc. We are a group of individuals that have come together to save the lives of animals that are in danger of being euthanized. We raise funds to fully vet the animals and to provide them with a stable home until they are adopted. All of the dogs in our Rescue are in Foster homes while they are looking for their forever family. The only time we put a dog in boarding is for a Foster to go on vacation if another Foster is not able to care for them. We appreciate your taking the time to fill out the application to adopt one of our Guardians of the Green Mile pets. The questions that we ask are to only find the right fit for all of our dogs and the families that will be adopting them. Adoption donation is $300.00 for dogs over 1 year old and $350 with a $50.00 spay / neuter deposit for puppies/dogs under 1 year old.

Click on this link to access the online form, https://www.jotform.us/form/43196636952162

Our Mission
