Riggs -I'll Be Home for Christmas Promo's Story
Thank you for checking me out! I'm Riggs, from Alabama. I haven't been here too long but, gosh is it cold! I've had a slow start here cuz I really miss my brother. We had been together the last 8 months, and become best buds. I have 2 foster brother dogs (40# and 80#), who have been showing me the ropes. This is the 1st time I have ever lived in a home, so I've been unsure what to do. My foster brothers have been patient with me as I navigate this new experience. They are teaching me the potty spots outside, how to check our perimeter, introducing me to new toys, and showing me that "new to me" noises and sounds are okay, and that I shouldn't be afraid of them. I am loving learning how to be a dog that's part of a family.
I also have 3 foster cats. They are interesting to watch. They come into my kennel to check on me, but for the most part, we respect each other's space.

Everything is so new to me, so I spend alot of time in my kennel, where I feel the safest. I like observing, and when I feel brave, coming out of my kennel to check things out.

My foster family has a TV that makes weird sounds, that I find interesting to watch. I have learned that I LOVE beef jerky, whip cream, pig ears, and chews that taste like wood.
I can't wait to find my forever family. I hope there are kids and maybe another nice gentle dog that I could be best friends with. I know I'm a slow to trust, but once you have it from me, I won't let you down, and I'll love you forever. Oh, and to my forever family, I hope you have the good treats for me too!
--------------------------------------------
"I'll be home for Christmas!" For applications received now through 12/31/2025, Warrior Dog Rescue is reducing the adoption fee of all pups. This is reflected in the adoption fee shown below.

All our Warrior Dogs will have all age appropriate medical care and vaccines, a microchip, and spayed/neutered if the dog is over 6 months of age at the time of adoption.

Please note that the majority of our dogs in rescue are from shelters where they have been found as strays or abandoned. Their breed description is based on our very best educated guess based on physical characteristics and their dispositions. If they came to our rescue as an owner surrender, the breed description will be listed as provided by the previous owner.

Adoption Fee - $250

To apply for this pup, please submit an Adoption Application at http://warriordogrescue.com/adopt/adoption-application/
